Gavin Phillips is the Owner and CEO of Creative Content Services, an online company offering website design & maintenance, marketing with photography, and copywriting. Gavin believes the world could use a little break from stress, which more recently, we’ve witnessed an increase due to many factors but primarily the pandemic. He understands that high stress in small to medium-sized businesses, like law firms and family counseling services, is an ever-consuming weight on the shoulders of those in the professions. With his company, Gavin can help by taking steps to prevent stress from turning into depression by taking on marketing, website, and content for companies so they can focus on what matters most to them, their profession.

Gavin also has a not-for-profit called Life-Learners Canada with the goal to have every public school graduate students as lifelong learners with life skills. These life skills include leadership, community living, relationship building, compassion & empathy, etc.

In addition to running a company, Gavin is an avid writer that spans many years, and back in 2017, he published his first fictional novel, “Hummingbird.” And despite his start-up business, which has taken up most of his time, he continues to write on the side. One of the many reasons he started the company was his passion for writing, and with it, he developed a hunger for research. Couple these talents with his extensive knowledge of web design and his personal experience of overcoming severe depression, and he found himself wanting more than just a job. He wanted something more than the last twenty years of mundane customer service. Gavin wanted to exploit his talents and experience, using them to help people prevent depression in the workplace. What better way (and time) to start a business than during a pandemic, change in career, marriage separation, all the while struggling with depression?
