The ABC’s of African American Inventions is a book for young people of all ages and ethnicities, to help them learn about some of the contributions to our world, made by people of color. The book can be used to teach younger children their ABC's, and for the older children, even all the way into high school, it might help them realize that the inventions we enjoy in our lives aren't always created by big corporations. We all have it within us to create new things, and the ideas, inventions, and innovations, all around us, can and do come from people from all walks of life; from the common man to the nuclear scientist.

Imagine for a moment the advantages your children, grandchildren, or students, might have if they began at an early age to look at the world around them with an eye for improving upon existing items, or creating new things that no one has ever thought of before.
